It is festival season and that means that in the next month there is so many great comedy festivals to look forward to! This month we are looking at some of the great shows that you can see at the Edinburgh Fringe. So take note because we are going to give you all the information you need for just a handful of some of the great shows happening this year!

Our show is called Mothman: A Romance Musical. It’s a surrealist comedy about three friends searching for the legendary West Virginian cryptid. The show is filled with emotional ballads, unnecessary dance numbers, and surprising amounts of heart…and guts. Literally.
The whole idea was formed when me and Alex Franklin were sitting in a cafe discussing some Minotaur erotica I’d purchased (for a friend) and the rest is history!
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
Oh so many! I’m excited to see Joseph Morpurgo: Highlander 70, Kate Cheka: The Last Funny Woman, Crybabies: The Scaring, Spencer Jones: Dogs, Hole, Lil Wenker: BOYKING, Lady Bolognese: CLASS WAR, Sharon Wanjohi: A Perfect Life, Andrew Doherty: Reviewers Welcome… TO DIE!, Aalex Mandel-Dallal: Where Was I?,Rohan Sharma: Sharmy Infinity Sam Eley is Basil Crumbwick: Soul Sewage, Will & Noah: Dinner Dinner Chicken Winner, Li Jin Hao: Falling From a Moon and of course shows from our own cast, Alex Franklin: Kiss and Hudson Hughes: At Your Service! There are no doubt LOADS I’ve forgotten to mention.
If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?
Aging 20 years from stress so I can get cast in the role of Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas the musical!
Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe.
Wake up at 9.30am. Immediately have a black coffee then scroll online for 2 hours. Realise there is no west-end production of Pocahontas, and even if there was, I, a white Scottish woman probably shouldn’t be cast as a elderly native american talking tree. Have lunch. Prep for the show, etc.
Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?
Tesco. The meal deal section. Salad bar if I feel fancy.
Best thing about performing at the fringe?
The chance for my family members to watch me perform comedy live for the first time, and then never talk to me again.
Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?
My ADHD pills.
What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?
