Hello! Tell us all about your show!

This is the show for people who want to keep on top of the news whilst at the Fringe. Imagine an American Late Night show, but not in America. This is that!

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Will Davies, Katie Pritchard, Bec Hill, Steffan Allun, Rachel Creeger, Scout Boxalll, Hasan Al-Habib, Larry Dean, Nish Kumar, Laura Lexx, Sam Nicoresti, Ayoade Bamgboye and so many others. I can’t wait.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I have a lot! I always say: have dry socks on hand, watch a lot of shows and climb Arthur’s seat once (but allow longer than you think).

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Wake ready to embrace a new day, check the news, curl up in a ball for a bit, write with my pals, lunch, watch something, do my WIP, remember I haven’t drunk any water yet, bit more writing, hang out with friends, do my ‘Topical Early Late Show’, watch something different, realise I’m quite dehydrated by now, drink water, bed.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

There’s a couple of great cafes on Grassmarket for lunchy stuff (Hula and Let Me Eat Too are my top picks), for bigger meals Mosque Kitchen, Soul Vegan and Ting Thai.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

All the other shows and watching the confused tourists who didn’t know there was a festival on and just came for the Tattoo.

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I bring a diffuser so I can make my room smell of a variety of fancy things. I also bring quite a lot of my clothes because I want something for all weather.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

On instagram I’m AdeleCliffComedy

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

News jokes everyday!
