It is festival season and that means that in the next month there is so many great comedy festivals to look forward to! This month we are looking at some of the great shows that you can see at the Edinburgh Fringe. So take note because we are going to give you all the information you need for just a handful of some of the great shows happening this year!

In the Black is a dark comedy about an ambitious first generation Black accountant fighting for a seat at the table in the high-stakes world of Wall Street. He navigates power, class and identity in a system that was never built for him. How far will he go to survive and who will he become in the process?
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
I’m looking forward to checking out SpinQueen™by Megan Tomei at Greenside!
Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.
Yes I did the fringe just last year Summer of 2025. My biggest advice is to nail your pitch. When you’re flyering, you have about ten seconds to hook someone, so make it tight and make it feel like you. And please, take care of your mental and physical health. The Fringe is a marathon, not a sprint.
Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe
My show was in the morning last summer, so I’d wake up, go for a jog, and run through my vocal and physical warmups before hitting the stage. After the show I’d grab something to eat, then spend the rest of the day flyering and catching other people’s work. It was amazing time.
Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?
Hands down, Viet Street! Incredible Vietnamese food.
Best thing about performing at the fringe?
The community. Being surrounded by artists and all that creative energy from all over the world. There’s nothing else like it.
Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?
I love having my guitar with me.
What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?
Hit the grocery store early and stock up on things you can actually cook or put together into meals. Eating out for every meal adds up fast.
