Hello! Tell us all about your show!

On the night of her 34th birthday, happily-single Annie is offered £150,000 by her parents to get married. She comes up with a plan with her best friend Owen to tie the knot and split the money, but needless to say it all goes a bit awry. The show is a mix of storytelling and character comedy about our obsession with weddings and the social pressure on women to tick certain life boxes.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Jonno, Britney, Lady Bolognese and HAM (Hotter Project).

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

Try not to think too much, try not to drink too much. Also – comfy shoes. Not sexy advice, but crucial.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Wake up. Worry no-one will like the show today. Do the show and absolutely love it!!! Go to bed and worry no-one will like it tomorrow. Repeat.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Don’t Tell Mama for brekkie.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Seeing a show that’s so good it makes you angry but in a nice way. Like, ‘argh, that was SO GOOD’, and you don’t know what to do with yourself for a bit afterwards. That feels quite specific to the Fringe maybe.

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

A coupla kids, for my sins! I’ve got a 3 year old and a 5 year old, so I’ll have cheap flyerers at least.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

Don’t buy yourself a little treat after every show just because ‘you deserve it’ (although you do!) (Ah gowan then, buy the treat!)

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

@ellieisross on Instagram / Mrs Gary Breath on Facebook

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Laughs and important-conversations-about-deeply-ingrained-ideas-of-what-female-success-and-fulfilment-should-look-like. Phew, was worried I wasn’t going to fit that in 3!
