Hello! Tell us all about your show!

CHURCH is a one-woman comedy show from the mind of LA-based stand-up comedian, former megachurch pastor and storyteller Brit Barron. Blending sharp stand-up, theatrical storytelling and live gospel music, Barron stages the show like a church service; equal parts revival and irreverence. A sold-out hit in Los Angeles, CHURCH is a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of faith, queerness, race and religious trauma.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

David Magidoff has a show called ‘Making Love’ I have seen it in LA and can’t wait to see it at the fringe again!

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

I have heard it described as “comedy summer camp” and that truly sounds like a dream. I am looking forward to meeting other artists and seeing shows, grabbing beers with new friends and just fully committing to all that fringe has to offer.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Well, I am lucky to have an afternoon show (CHURCH is happening sort of at the time that actual church would happen which is fun!) That means I will have lots of time in the evening to catch lots of shows.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

I’ve never been to Edinburgh but I have heard good things about Bell’s Diner and I am looking forward to checking it out!

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

I imagine it will be just the opportunity to do the show so many times in such a short period!

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I am bringing my wife and my best friend!

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?
