There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

There are a lot of places in Norway that are incredibly photogenic and amazing to witness in reality. One of the places that is insanely breathtaking in Olden and that is where today’s photo is taken.

I actually don’t remember taking this photograph as I took so many when I was there and when I went through my photos I was surprised that I had taken such a lovely photo of an interesting view.

I adore the depth in this photograph as no matter how many times you look at it, you always see something new or different. For example – today is the first time I realised that there is snow on the hills right in the background.

One thing I have noticed about photographs that I have taken in Norway countryside is that the grass always looks a very vibrant green. The grass and trees in the image reel you in due to this bold colour and creates the dramatic impact when you look at it.
