There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

My Man – Jade Ewen

When you have performed at the Eurovision Song contest, it can be difficult to do a follow up single in your country afterwards. Today we are looking at the next single for musician Jade Ewen who was a contestant at the 2009 Eurovision representing the country with the Andrew Lloyd Webber song ‘It’s My Time’.

On the 17th September 2009, Jade Ewen released the single My Man. It was written by Ina Wrolddsen, Harry Sommerdahl and Kalle Engston and produced by Lage Sigorth and Wroldson and Engston. It was released on the record label of Polydor.

Jade may look familiar as she was one of the replacements of the Sugababes. She actually joined the band around the same time as she joined the band.

The music video was filmed in California and was directed by Urban Strom and produced by Danny Germaine.

The single did reasonably well in the charts and went to number 13 in the UK R&B charts. In the UK singles it only went to position 35.
