COLOSSAL GRILLED CHEESE

Cheese and bread – such a perfect pairing and a big favourite for people over in America. Today we are heading to a State Fair where a very indulgent version was made for consumers.

At the Indiana State Fair a few years ago, The National Dairy Association created a really indulgent meal – The Colossal Grilled Cheese. They take sourdough bread, butter it and then they add a variety of cheeses – yellow cheese, four fried mozzarella sticks and pepperjack cheese. You then grill the sandwich.

The sandwich is so indulgent it has two layers, this means it is cooked in two ways. The second layer is American cheese, mozzarella sticks and swiss cheese – this makes a double decker delight. It is finished with a dip of Mozzarella sauce with basil.

There are loads of positive reviews of this grilled cheese with people praising how cheesy it is and very rich.
