Innocent Eyes – Delta Goodrum

Today we are heading back to the early noughties, to take a look at a single that was released by an Australian solo artist that did well in the United Kingdom.

On the 9th June 2003, Delta Goodrum released the single Innocent Eyes. It was off of the album with the same name. The song was written by Delta Goodrum and Vince Pizzingia, produced by John Fields and released on the record label Epic.

The cd single had two b-sides one was called Hear Me Calling and the other was Lost For Words.

This was Delta’s third number one single in Australia and even became certified platinum. The single did really well in other countries as well – in Ireland it went to number 25 and New Zealand 15. In the United Kingdom it went into the charts at number 9.
