The Travel Book – Travel Through A Photo – Tortola, British Virgin Island

There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

If there is one thing that is great about the Carribbean is that you can take some fantastic photographs. The sea is so vibrant that is creates a wonderful photograph. Today we are looking at a photograph that I took in Tortola.

I really love this image as it brings back a lot of great memories. Hot weather, sandy beaches and beautiful coloured sea. I remember I didn’t want to swim in the sea as was nervous as kept seeing jellyfish. There was also lots of birds dive bombing as well. I swim for a little while but preferred paddling and watching the birds in action as it was great to see nature doing it’s thing.

It was a really beautiful beach, I love the colours in this photo, it is so vibrant, welcoming and really warm. I love the bold blue and really made it fantastic.
