When you visit a new town it can be hard to find somewhere new to eat. Well today I am going to tell you about a deli I came across in St Alban’s that is really good.
Silver Palate is a deli that prides itself on Mediterranean food. Whilst they have a location in Harpenden, today we are going to focus on the one in St Albans as that is the one I visited. The deli in St Albans is located in Market Place and is open daily from 7:30am, closing times differ depending on the day that you go.
It is a place that is incredibly popular and whilst it has some seating available, there is a good chance that you will have to have a takeaway as it is so popular.
They offer a range of food – everything from old deli delights to hot food such as sandwiches, pittas, salads and burgers.Thwy also offer share boards as well.
When I visited, I had one of their sandwich specials which had got chicken, mustard and I think pastrami in it – the food was delicious, quite pricey but very delicious.
