There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
If there is one place I adore in France then it is Angoulême. It is such an underrated place and if you are ever near it, I would say make an effort to go and visit it.
Today’s photograph was taken in the town centre – a great thing about this area is that the buildings are old with real distinct character and really highlights a history that it has.
I enjoy this photograph because it defines the age of the buildings, it creates depth and makes you question about it’s past. Whilst the colours are quite muted, it brings out the bold dark colours of age and wear on the bricks of the building. The light blue sky makes the aged buildings more vibrant.
