There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Watching You – Voodoo Child

When I think of today’s act, Rogue Traders, the song Voodoo Child comes to mind as it was a huge hit in the UK. However, there are other tracks that they had as singles that may not be as well remembered and today we are looking at one of them.

Watching You was released on the 30th January 2006. It was produced by James Ash and released under the record labels of Columbia and Sony BMG. The song was the third single to be released from their second album Here Comes The Drums which was released in 2005.

The song samples the guitar riff from the Knacks song My Sharona. The CD version of the single had various remixes of the song.

The track did well in the charts and it went to number 18 in the UK dance Chart. In the UK to 40 it only went to the position of number 33. It did well in the bands home country of Australia and went to number 2 in the dance chart and number 5 in the regular chart.
