There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

It’s Christmas time and I am in Boston in 2010, it is a freezing cold day but we decided to head on the train and go to a beach area called Elliot Circle. It is a nature reserve and a really pretty sandy beach – which was even more picturesque with snow on the sand. However, that was not the only lovely thing, the other was the shells.
This photograph is a close up of one of the shells I saw on the beach and I really like it aa whilst it is a focus on the shells. You can still see the beauty of the beach in the background.
I really like the shadows on the shell, as it creates interest to the image and makes you look at the detail and depth of the shell. It is a really interesting picture and I always enjoy looking at it.
