Everyday this month we are looking at different songs from different films that I love and feel that they deserve their time to shine in the limelight. They are all bits of music that I love and I wanted to talk about them more in depth so that maybe you the reader can have similar experiences and understand why I like them.
Song From Soundtrack: Ratatouille Main Theme – Michael Giacchino
Film: Ratatouille
Year: 2007
There is a lot of Pixar music that I adore, but I would say this is one of my favorites. I even taught myself how to play it on the violin. The main thing from Ratatouille is just fabulous. It
is a track that relies on string instruments to create the wonderful emphasis or French villain to the song, the way this song is played, and the themes of the film also make this piece of optimism of the track. It is a song that just feels really magical, and really creates a wonderful feeling to your ears or to the film.
As someone who plays violin, it is a pleasure to play, and so fun to put the strings. Wonderful piece. Lovely and magical.
