There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.
James Dean (I Wanna Know) – Daniel Bedingfield
Today we are going looking at a track by a solo artist that was really successful in the early noughties. These days we only really hear about his sister so I thought it would be nice to revisit.
James Dean (I Wanna Know) was released by Daniel Bedingfield om the 12th August 2002. It was both written and produced by the artist and released on the record label of Polydor. It was the follow up to his incredibly popular track called Gotta Get Thru This.
The single was recorded in London at the Metropolis Studios. The CD single had an acoustic version of the Gotta Get Thru This single on it.
The track did well in the UK and went to number 4 in the top 40 UK singles chart and number 12 in the UK Dance Chart. It did chart internationally as well but it didn’t do as well. The highest position outside of the UK as Australia at chart position 20.
