There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
France is a fantastic place, there is so much to see and every area of France is different from the other. There is one place that is interesting as the town has clear influence / population from America as it has that feel and the beach is really pleasant.
Arcachon has a really sandy beach and it is one of the main tourist attractions to the area. This photo really highlights the vibrancy of the sand to the sea. I really like the fact that there was a tree slanted at the beach as it creates a real depth to the photograph.
The darkness of the trees creates a boldness and welcomes you into the bright colours behind – it makes it very enticing and makes you want to visit the image in the photograph.
The fact that there is no one on the beach makes it enticing and creates a narrative for the viewer who questions what is happening in this photograph.
This picture was taken out of tourist season in December but if you look at the photo you would not think it as the sky colour highlights and deceives you.
