Everyday this month we are looking at different songs from different films that I love and feel that they deserve their time to shine in the limelight. They are all bits of music that I love and I wanted to talk about them more in depth so that maybe you the reader can have similar experiences and understand why I like them.
Song From Soundtrack: Married Life – Michael Giacchino
Film: Up
Year: 2009
Whilst this is one of my least favourite Pixar films, this piece of music from Up is phenomenal – even if you listen to the song without watching the film, there is so much emotion portrayed.
It is a wonderful piece of instrumental music, the stars of the music are the brass instruments as they bring so much joy and sadness throughout and that is why it works so well. It is ingenious.
It is also very sad and tells a magnificent love story is such a limited time and that is why it is so clever. It is such a beautiful piece of music.
