BURGER KING KRABBY PATTY WHOPPER
It is always interesting when a company decides to collaborate with a franchise to celebrate a launch of a film and today we are looking at one that happened between Burger King and the latest SpongeBob SquarePants film.
In December of 2025 it was announced that Burger King was teaming up with The Sponge Bob Movie to release a range or products. One of these was a SpongeBob Krabby Whopper. This is a quarter pound flame grilled beef burger patty. It is then placed in a yellow bun with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mayonnaise and ketchup.
The Whopper could be purchased for $6.99 and was available for a limited time. It was around 780 calories and 49 grams of fat.
The main criticism about the burger was that it was not accurate to what a Krabby Patty is in the television series. Most reviews online all comment that it is very similar to a normal Whopper.
