All this month we are celebrating acts that you need to look out for in 2026. Today we speak to band Non Talkers who are heading to Europe with their tour!
Hello, tell us all about yourself?
We’re Non Talkers, a Portuguese–Belgian pop-folk duo formed by Marco and Evita Brantner. Our music blends emotional storytelling, harmonies, and acoustic textures with a cinematic energy. We started in 2019 and have since toured across Europe, releasing music that’s honest, heartfelt, and deeply personal.
How was 2025 for you?
2025 has been incredible. We kicked off our Weight of Doubt tour in Portugal, where the audience’s reaction was beyond our expectations. It felt like a true turning point for us as a band.
What were the top 3 highlights for you?
- The start of the Weight of Doubt tour with several sold-out shows in Portugal.
- The amazing feedback from our latest single, Weight of Doubt.
- Recording new songs that we can’t wait to release in 2026.
What was the key lesson you learned from last year?
That patience and consistency are everything. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stay true to yourself and your purpose, things fall into place naturally.
What are your plans for 2026?
In 2026, we’ll be expanding our Weight of Doubt tour across Europe — performing in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. We’re also planning to release new music along the way and connect with new audiences.
What other shows are you looking forward to watching this year?
We’d love to catch Snow Patrol and Mumford and Sons if possible. Their live shows are pure inspiration, they remind us of how powerful a concert can be when it truly connects people.
What styles do you hope to see more of in music this year?
We’d love to see more organic, heartfelt music, songs that focus on emotion, storytelling, and authenticity instead of trends or algorithms.
Who is your band / musician that is your one to watch in 2026 and why?
The Banners. They’ve got incredible energy and sincerity in their sound. We think they deserve a much bigger audience.
Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? If so, what are they?
To live with more balance, keep creating, and spend as much time as possible doing what we love. And, of course, to keep growing our connection with our fans.
