The shop Paperchase, is sadly coming to an end but in the weeks to the run up, I have been visiting to find out what books I can use to create articles from and luckily yet again, I was welcomed with a brand new one called A Pocketful of Self Discovery!

Week 71 – Talk About Three Of Your Music Heroes

Tom Delonge

If you ignore all the ‘jokes’ side of Blink-182 there is a lot of Tom that makes him one of my music heroes. I really enjoy his poetic lyrics, the way he writes and the fact that he just keeps pushing himself creatively. He never gives in he keeps moving forward and always dares to be different.

Matt Skiba

Whilst I always adored Time To Waste when I was a kid, I never really got into Skiba’s music until I was much older. He is a fantastic writer, his songs have some wonderful lines that he is just so unique in his style. I met him and he was just a really nice person to me and he even gave me his plectrum he played the whole show with which was surreal.

Lady Gaga

Whilst I don’t listen to Lady Gaga loads anymore, her live shows are what make her a music hero to me because they are so creative and phenomenal. She can really sing live whilst also doing these elaborate stage performances. I saw her in New York City on her first ever tour and it blew my mind. She is such a great show woman.
