There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Playas Gon’ Play – 3LW

Today we are going to look at the second and final single from a girl band that you may not remember as it was pretty short lived. Saying that, it did well in the UK charts so lets take a look at it today.

Playas Gon’ Play was released by girl band 3LW on the 10th April 2001. It was written by Sean ‘Sep’ Hall and Nate Butler and released under the record label of Epic. It was the second single to be released off of the debut album that was self titled.

The single had a B Side on the CD version called Never Let Me Go. The music video was filmed around an unknown island.

The single did well in the charts and went to number 21 in the UK charts and number 5 in the UK Hip Hop charts. In the US it was not as successful as it went to number 81 in the Billboard Hot 100.
