When you visit a new location it is always exciting to stumble across something you wasn’t expecting and takes you by surprise. This happened to me in St Albans when I came across a seating area for a coffee shop that was incredibly unique by mistake.
The Courtroom Cafe is somewhere that you need to visit if you head to city. When I bought a coffee I didn’t realise I was heading into this Courtroom – there was no indication as I didn’t know where to sit and the museum curator lead me into this breathtaking room.
The Courtroom Cafe is located in St Albans Museum and Art Gallery. It is in the centre of the city on St Peters Street. It is open everyday from 10 until 4.
The cafe has organic coffee and tea as well as a variety of cakes, pastries, hot food and savouries which as cooked and created daily.
The reason I feel you should visit this place is that it is really interesting and it makes a really unique place to sit and enjoy a coffee.
