Every year I sit down to write a poem for this day,
Trying to think of new festive things to say,
I don’t know about you but 2025 has gone incredibly fast,
Wanting it to be longer and for everyday to last,

As always thank you for spending time reading this site,
I hope it has kept you entertained and alight,
I still cannot believe that I have been writing this for ten years,
It feels so surreal and I raise a glass and say cheers!

To the 8,000 articles that I have written on the way,
And thank you to guest writers who also had some great things to say,
So here is to writing a lot more with variety and mix,
So have a great festive season and an exciting 2026!
