“Mona Lisa” is a song for the night owls, the shift workers, the touring musicians. With a singer-songwriter vibe and explosive punk choruses, “Mona Lisa” speaks to the loneliness of working odd hours and being away from loved ones.

Liquor Store Stories from our debut album is my favorite song to play live. We usually close our shows with it.

Liquor store stories
The song that was the longest to write and why?
Our longest song to write has not been released yet… we’re working on two right now, actually, and it’s all coming together nicely, it’s just taking a bit more time as we’re going in a bit of a different direction with these ones.. a little more progressive. The problem is that we have so many ideas and riffs.. It’s trying to figure out which ones work best together for the song itself.
One of your previous tracks you would recommend for first time listeners of your music and why?
Liquor Store Stories are a good entrance point. It’s what I think is our best song. Also, our new single Snake in the Grass is a good jumping-on point as it’s so fast and fun
Dream collaboration:
Would love to work with the band F***** Up or the legendary jack white
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
No better feeling in the world. Once that adrenaline takes hold, all pain in the body disappears, and it’s go time for 45 minutes to an hour.
The track that is most fun to play live:
Love playing liquor store stories live. Or Snake in the grass..also Mr Pryor
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
A mini battery-operated orange amp for hotel riffing and a Steam Deck for video games.
Describe your fans in three words:
Family not fans
A song released in the last few years by an artist or band you wish you had written:
Will you smile again for me by and you will know us by the trail of the dead
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
The year is closing up now. One more music video to come for Mona Lisa and our end-of-the-year banger party at the Woodside beverage room in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on Saturday, December 20th
