Your latest single you have released:

Close Your Eyes was the first new song written once we ended our lengthy hiatus. It is the one song off of our 11-song album (set for release in early 2026), where all four of us could agree there was something special about it. Lyrically, at its core, the song is about someone who must go a very long journey, perhaps forever, but must leave someone they love behind.

Your favourite lyric in this song: 

Daniel: “One, I need us to be one.”

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

Daniel: Close Your Eyes andDissipate, although I feel my best vocal performance is on Fly.

James: Time and Time Again andFly.

Your favourite song to play live:

Daniel: Alone.

The song that was the longest to write and why?

Technically speaking, Time and Time Again took the longest to write. In that, Daniel and James wrote the initial idea some 30 years ago as a rock song. While in the studio recording our forthcoming album, we transposed the song to piano and Daniel rewrote the verse lyrics. 

Your most emotional track: 

Daniel: I would have to say, Dissipate or Time and Time Again.

Dream collaboration:

Daniel: Alive would probably be Paul McCartney, Jimmy Page, or Carole King. Once alive would probably be George Harrison or Brian Wilson.

James: Freddie Mercury or Eddie Van Halen

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

Daniel: A little bit of nervousness but a whole lot more excitement and pent-up energy.

James: Sheer excitement at the thought I get to share our music with the audience.

The hardest track to play live:

Ooh, great question. Probably Fly, because of its dynamic range.

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

Toothbrushes, clean underwear, and our gear. From there, everything is optional!

Daniel: Ooh, great question! I don’t think I can answer that, but I shall try! In no particular order, Don’t Worry Baby (Beach Boys); While my Guitar Gently Weeps (Harrison); Imagine (Lennon); In My Life (Lennon/McCartney); Rock n’ Roll (Zep); Go Your Own Way (Buckingham); Little Wing (Hendrix); too many to list!

What we can look forward to from your band in 2026: 

We are organizing a 2026 Tour. We plan to release another song in January, followed by the release of our full-length album in early 2026.
