There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Naughty List – Liam Payne

It’s been just over a year since Liam Payne sadly passed away from a terrible fall from a balcony. I thought this year it would be nice to look at a song that he released as a Christmas single five years ago.

On the 30th October 2020 Liam Payne teamed up with Tik Tok star Dixie D’Amelio to release the single Naughty List. The single was produced by TMS and released on the record label Capitol. It was written by many people – Liam Payne, Ben Kohn, Ed Drewett, Ella Henderson, Janee Bennett, Peter Kelleher and Tom Barnes.

The aim of the track was to create something with a modern sound to it and not follow traditional styles of Christmas tracks. The collaboration happened after discovering each other on Tik Tok. The single was initially released via the app.

The single went to number 48 in the UK charts and number 4 in the US Holiday Digital song sales.
