Remember Me – Blue Boy
Today we are heading back to the late nineties to take a look at a song that was a really popular dance track. If you hear it now you will remember it as it is really catchy.
On the 20th January 1997, the British DJ Alexis ‘Lex’ Blackmore released the single Remember Me under the psudonym of Blue Boy. It was from the EP Scattered Emotions which was released in 1996. The song was released under the record label of Pherm,
The track has samples of the song ‘ Woman Of The Ghetto’ by Mariena Shaw implemented into the song to build up the basis of the track.
The single did really well in the charts and went into the top 10 in many countries including Denmark (4), Iceland (2), Norway (4) and Spain (4) to name a few. In the United Kingdom it went into the charts at number 8 and number 1 in the UK dance and UK Hip Hop Charts .
