Boyband Month – Day 17 – O-Town: Liquid Dreams

All this month we are celebrating the world of the Boyband and that means that every day of November we are delving into a different song by a different band! Let’s celebrate the boyband, there were many of them in the noughties and nineties when I was growing up so let’s relook at some of the great ones out there!

Track: Liquid Dreams
Artist: O-Town
Original Release Date: 2001

I hated O-Town so much. I knew someone at school that was obsessed with them, I never got it, I still don’t understand why they were so popular – especially in America.

I hated this song as the chorus got stuck in your head. It was only when I have got older that I fully understand the lyrics and can’t watch the video in the same way – how did this even become a song?

It is so bad and whilst they were meant to be the new Backstreet Boys or *N Sync I think they did well but were never that big. Still don’t like this song but thought be interesting to share again today.
