The Travel Book – Links Fish Bar, Burntisland, Scotland

In Scotland, there are a lot of fish and chip shops being a lot of coast you tend to expect that. However, I think it is always important to highlight good ones when you find them as it is so important to get it right. Today we are heading to the Fife coast to look at one in a really popular tourist area.

Burntisland is a popular coastal tourist destination on the Fife Coastline. It is near a lot of holiday parks as well which means in the summer it can be quite busy. It is a quaint town and if you visit and are looking for somewhere to eat then Links Fish Bar could be the place for you.

Links Fish Bar is located on Links Place which is just off the high street. It is open everyday from 11am-9pm. Whilst it is a fish and chip shop there is also a restaurant right next door so you don’t have to eat outside you can sit in.

There is a nice selection on offer all for a reasonable price. The portions are really generous and the star of the show are the chips – they are really really moreish.

I would recommend visiting Links Fish bar if you are in the area as it is a really lovely place and it is also full of very friendly staff.
