All this month we are celebrating the world of the Boyband and that means that every day of November we are delving into a different song by a different band! Let’s celebrate the boyband, there were many of them in the noughties and nineties when I was growing up so let’s relook at some of the great ones out there!

Track: Back Here
Artist: BBMak
Original Release Date: 1999
I don’t remember a lot about BBMak but I remember that this song popped up on many CD compilation albums in the late nineties, early noughties. It is very mellow, calming pop track which is perfect for a Wednesday Morning.
It follows the format of most boyband songs – the chorus plays a really predominant part and it is the part of the song that you will always remember when you walk away from it.
It is a nice song but personally I fell it is a tad cheesy. It has a nice musical interlude but the song as a whole can feel a bit repetitive at times.
It is a song that has the nineties and noughties feel and you can hear a lot of the elements of the song that were popular in this era.
