All this month we are celebrating the world of the Boyband and that means that every day of November we are delving into a different song by a different band! Let’s celebrate the boyband, there were many of them in the noughties and nineties when I was growing up so let’s relook at some of the great ones out there!

Track: Bodyshakin’
Artist: 911
Original Release Date: 1997
The song whenever I hear it always bring back the same feeling I had as a young kid whenever I heard it. It was a sense of enjoyment but also feeling a tad shy – I didn’t understand the lyrics as I was under ten but I sort of felt it was always sort of mischievous to listen to it.
I was never really a 911 fan they were a bit before my time but this song was always around when i was in Primary School in the nineties.
It is one of those pop songs that has a really addictive chorus when you hear it you end up getting it stuck in your head and it will repeat over and over again.
The song has a real nineties feel to it and the introduction is very reminiscent to the era of the boyband music – it sort of had the same feel as a Five song or even a Backstreet Boys song.
Even to this day it is a great boyband song.
