One thing I get a lot of at this time of year through the Edinburgh Fringe Interviews is food recommendations from acts. I specifically ask the question so that readers have a vast knowledge of areas they could potentially visit when they are at the festival and may not know about.
I have been to Fringe quite a few times and I have been to Edinburgh a lot as well, so I thought over July I would give you a few recommendations of my own that you may want to visit over the Fringe season.

BOBBY’S SANDWICH BAR
The last time I was at the Fringe I needed somewhere that I could get lunch that I could grab and take it on the go. I didn’t want a standard meal deal, I wanted something that was more exciting, personal and unique. I searched online for great places to get sandwiches from in Edinburgh and the place that came up tops was this place so I took a chance and went there.
Bobby’s Sandwich Bar is located at Greyfriars and is open daily from 7:30am / 8am depending on what day you go. The bar offers a range of choices from everything from homemade sandwiches to toasties and bagels all for a reasonable price. There is a seating area is quite small so it is a place that is more for a takeaway.
If you are travelling around the Fringe then I recommend stopping here for food as it’s a great place as it is central and gives you a chance to go a bit more independent then a meal deal.
