Once – Diana Vickers

Today we are heading back to 2010 to take a look at a single that was released by an X Factor semi-finalist. It may be a song that you may not remember so lets have a look today.

On the 16th April 2010, Diana Vickers released the single Once. The track was the debut song by the musician and came off of the album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree which was also released the same year. The track was written by Cathy Dennis and EG White and released under the record label of RCA.

The first play of this track was as part of the Big Top 40 as part of its New Year Eves special in 2009. The track had the B-side of the song ‘Sunlight’ which she performed in West End as Little Voice.

The single did well in the UK chart and went into the top twenty at number 1. It also gained silver certification.
