HERSHEYS GOLD PEANUTS & PRETZELS

Today we are going to look at a chocolate bar that was apparently the first new flavour that this particular company had created in 22 years!

In 2017, it was announced that Hershey was set to release a new chocolate bar – Gold Peanuts and Pretzels bar. It was released to help promote the Winter Olympics. This was because Hershey was an official sponsor of the US Olympic Committee for 2018.

The chocolate bar was not chocolate but was actually caramelised creme that was filled with peanuts and pretzels. Apparently American speed skater Apolo Ohno, Gymnast Simone Biles and Paralympian Rico Roman was hired to help promote the new sweet snack.

It has a lot of positive reviews online with people praising the fact that it had an unique taste.
