Temperature – Sean Paul

Sean Paul is touring the UK at some point this year, so I thought it would be fun to take a look at one of his singles today.

The song Temperature was released on 5th December 2005, written by Sean Paul, Adrian ‘Izes’ Marshall and Rohan Filler. The single was from his third studio album The Trinity that was released in the same year. It was also released under the record labels of Atlantic and VP.

The music video was directed by Little X and has received over 400 millions views. The song did really well in the charts worldwide and went into the top 10 in many countries including Australia (5), Belgium (2), Canada (2), France (4) and Netherlands (6). In the US it went into number 2 in the US Rap Songs, Us Pop 100 and the US Rhythmic charts and number 1 in the US Billboard Hot 100.

In the United Kingdom, it went into the charts at 11. IT has also gone 2x Platinum selling over 1,200,000 units.
