When you visit somewhere like Dundee for the first time it can be so easy to stay within the city centre but there are some interesting activities just outside and today awe are going to look at one.
Camperdown Wildlife Park is located just on the outskirts of central Dundee on Coupar Angus Road. It is right near the A90 exit to Dundee and you can get there with a bus from the town centre that take about 10-15 minutes to get there.
The opening times vary depending on what time of the year you visit. The park is home to many interesting things, it is the former grounds of the 19th Century Mansion Camperdown House, recreational facilities and a wildlife centre.
I would say if you visit the park then make it part of your day to go to the Wildlife Centre. It is a place that is home to so many animals providing conservation and research.
The Wildlife Centre is home to many animals including Brown Bears, Macaws, Owls and Meerkats to only name a few. There is also a cafe and facilities if needed as well.
I would recommend visiting this park as there is something there for the whole family to enjoy and it will make a good day out or even half day.
