Every day this month we are taking a look at a variation of couples from different television shows. It is the month of ‘love’ so it in tradition we are looking at the world of relationships. There will be spoilers throughout so be warned!

Day 25 – Blair and Chuck,

Gossip Girl

I watched Gossip Girl a lot later then others – I can’t remember where I first saw it but I know that it was still on television and had a few seasons to go.

Initially I wasn’t sure of the show or the theme, I kept with it for something to watch and started to like it. I was never really a fan of Selina and found her selfish and annoying. To be honest, I was not a fan of Blair either initially and that is why I found it hard to watch. The difference between the two characters is that Blair becomes more human and she grows on you, the character of Selina never does.

The one relationship that I wasn’t sure would work well until it happened was Blair and Chuck. It is intense and can be quite funny at times and also dark at times. I haven’t watched Gossip Girl in a very long time but I know that you want them to end up together as they make each other better.
