To The Manor Born

I find in modern day society To The Manor Born is one of the most underrated comedies. I know that it may feel outdated nowadays due to the class system not being the topics that are widely discussed anymore but it is a great comedy and can still be enjoyed.

I really like To The Manor Born, it is a lovely story and very funny at times. One of the key things that make it as great as it is the relationship between Audrey and Richard DeVere.

The fact that Audrey moves into the gatehouse of her old Manor house to keep an eye on how things are going is what makes the comedy gold. The way she interferes to make sure she always has a say is hilarious. These situations also build up the chemistry between Audrey and Richard and it creates a great love story.
