There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
If there is one place that is so wonderful to visit in France then it is Dijon. They have great food, great mustard (no joke, there is a mustard shop) and wonderful architecture. This little square in Dijon caught my eye the first time we ever visited and was a place I went back to every time we went back.
I love this little square because the old fashioned water fountain in front of the wonderful red and white building and makes it wonderful. I really like the carousel in the tent like shape in the background as it creates a quirky style to the photograph.
I enjoy this photograph because even though it is modern day, it has a sense of age to it that creates a historic feel as well. I didn’t want to manipulate the photo and make it look old as I felt that having it in colour made it more interesting.
