Christmas Dirtbag – Wheatus

It was a song that was incredibly popular in the early noughties and last year it ended up making a return – firstly on social media when it went viral for people discovering the lead singer sings the female section (really? I knew this from day one, why didn’t everyone else?) and then secondly because they released a Christmas version of this particular song.

In November 2023, it was announced that Wheatus were going to release a holiday themed version of the track Teenage Dirtbag, The track was renamed Christmas Dirtbag with the lyrics being changed to a festive theme and was off of the EP Just a Dirtbag Christmas that was also released in the same year.

The music video is animated and starts Buddy The Wheatus Dog and is the story about him struggling for attention in the festive season. So listen to the song above to get into the festive season this year in a different way.
