There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.
If there is one thing that can always be interesting about taking photos, then it is when you can grab an image of animals. It can be really hard to get a good shot but sometimes you can be lucky and end up finding a great little segment of life where you want to record it and take it as a photograph.
I really like this photograph, it was taken in Kenley, Surrey years ago in a cold winter – where there was still the odd bit of snow around. The one reason why I took this photograph is that I really enjoyed the position of the sheep and thought it would take a good photograph – luckily it did!
I really like this photo because you can see a lot of different poses from the sheep but most importantly they all look relaxed and chilled out. I really like the dark colours of the winter grass next to to the bright white of the snow. I like how rustic the colours of the sheep look as well.
I like the fact I made the decision to blur the background as it creates more depth to the photograph and creates this really interesting image that I can look at for ages.
