Give It To You – Jordan Knight

It is always fun to look at the solo projects of members of boybands and today we are delving into a single that was released by New Kids On the Block member Jordan Knight.

On the 16th February 1999 Jordan released his solo debut single Give It To You. It was written by Jordan Knight, James Horns III, Terry Lewis and Robin Thicke. It was produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and was released under the record label of Interscope.

The single was from the debut album that was self titled which was also released in the same year. To celebrate the release of the single he performed it live on the television show Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.

Give It To You did well in the charts and went into the top 20 in Canada (11), Netherlands (20), US Billboard Hot 100 (10) and Scotland (11). In the UK it went to number 5 in the singles top 40 and number 1 in the Hip Hop and R&B singles chart.
