Alex Kealy has recently just for married and this show delves into his experiences of being a newly wed. The show delves Into everything from the proposal, to dealing with new jobs, parents and everything In between.
Alex’s jokes are witty and his persona creates a sense of intellectual humour along the way. There are the odd maths jokes thrown in as well as a in depth joke about making coffee which gets more funny as it progresses.
The one thing that I wasn’t keen on was the fact that the show opens with a huge hit of politics. This felt in the wrong place or probably shouldn’t of been mentioned at all it completely knocks the vibe of the initial show and starts it off in a very bizarre way as politics are only mentioned very subtly after that it sort of knocked the tone even if it was audience work / warm up the audience.
Overall a delightful show that audiences react really well to.
