Welcome the feature where we ask musicians or bands five really tough questions about music! Today I speak to the band Temmpo which  is the musical project of Australian producer Tonino, They have recently released the single Before You Go which is a dance pop cover of Lewis Capaldi’s song. Today we ask some tough music questions.

What is the hardest lyric you have ever had to write and why?

I once was asked to write a tribute song for a family member who had passed to be played at her funeral. this was difficult to write as i was very close to that person. the creative process on that one, was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster

What is the weirdest gift or compliment a fan has given you?

i once got told i sounded like rick ashley when i sang in a studio. i wasn’t sure if the producer was being serious or not. but i was a kinda bizzare compliment…i think.

Who is the best band or musician you have had the pleasure to share the stage with?

I loved sharing the stage with Afrojack. we performed a few festivals at tomorrowland and ultra. Dream come true for me.

What one of your songs has been the most difficult to rehearse for a live audience?

There is a song I’m rehearsing at the moment, has been released yet. it’s a very testing song vocally to get right and is quite demanding.

Dream collaboration and why ?

i would love to do a collab with the chainsmokers. i think they are always creating great music. would love to be in the studio with them.
