How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the Camden fringe?
Our improvised show follows the adventures of Star Captain and their trusty sidekick Number Two. Originally we named the show ‘The Improvised Adventures of Star Captain (and Number Two) but we ended up shortening the show name for ease!
Tell us a little bit about your style of show?
We improvise our show as a duo. We take an audience suggestion and then Star Captain and Number Two head off for their adventures through the cosmos! We each play multiple characters throughout the show and often character swap. Look forward to comedic chaos as we can sometimes be playing six or more characters all on stage at the same time!
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
Such a brilliant selection of shows available! We love to watch and support other improvised shows so those will be first on our ‘must see’ list!
what advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?
Take the plunge and go for it!
What is the best thing about performing at the Camden fringe?
Bringing a show to such great audiences.
London can be an expensive place to perform in – what key advice would you give to performers that is a sort of life hack?
You need to travel to London from afar, check out your travel options as far in advance as possible to get the cheapest tickets.
What are your three favourite things about Camden?
The people,
The area
The buzz
Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?
A Sci-Fi fan with a love of comedy ready to see something they have never seen before!
The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?
