There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Adrienne – The Calling

When you have a debut single that does incredibly well in the charts internationally it can be really hard to have the same level of success with the follow up. Today we look at the second single to be released by rock band called The Calling.

Adrienne was released the 15th April 2002 and was written by band members Aaron Kamin and Alex Band. It was released on the record label of RCA and was from the album Camino Palmero which was released in 2001.

The song reached the top 30 in many countries including Belgium (14), Italy (21), Netherlands (24) and the US Rock & Metal charts (2). In the United Kingdom it went into the charts at number 18.

The first time I heard this song was actually when I wrote this article I do not remember it but it hearing it now I feel it is not as catchy as Wherever You Will Go but it is a nice follow up.
