There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

U Make Me Wanna – Blue

When I was a kid I was a big fan of Blue – looking back now when they are spoken about or promoted there are a lot of tracks that get forgotten about. Whilst this personally wasn’t one of my favourites, I thought it would be interesting to look at it today.

U Make Me Wanna was a single by Blue that was released on the 17th March 2003. The track was written by Steve Robson, John McLaughlin and Harry Wilkins. The track was produced by StarGate and released under the record labels of Innocent and Virgin. The single was the final track to be released from the second album One Love that was released in 2002. The B-Side to the single was Made For Loving You.

The single did reasonably well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Czech Republic (2), Germany (6), Ireland (5), Romania (5) and Switzerland (9). In the United Kingdom it went in at number 4 in the UK Singles chart and number 2 in the UK Hip Hop chart. It also became certified silver in the United Kingdom and sold over 200,000 copies.
