Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song) – Safari Duo
I had not heard this song in a very long time so when I came across it again, it was really exciting to hear it again as it has a really fun dramatic beat to it.
Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song) was released by Dutch group Safari Duo in 2000. The track was produced by the band and Michael Parsberg. The song was from the album Episode II and was released under the record label of Universal.
If this song sounds familiar it could be because you may of heard it at Six Flags Great Adventure as it is used on the rife Kingola Ka. The track became the fourth fastest selling single ever in Europe.
The song did really well in the charts and went into the top 5 in Belgium (2), Canada (4), Denmark (1), Hungary (4), Netherlands (2), Norway (4), Spain (3), Switzerland (1). In the United Kingdom it sold over 200,000 copies and became certified silver and went to number 2 in the UK Dance charts.
