Every Sunday we are taking a look at the world of books. I read a lot and always want to share my opinions on what I read, so I thought it would be fun to write reviews. Today we are looking at the third book in the Monsieur Pamplemousse collection
Monsieur Pamplemousse on the Spot (1986)
Michael Bond
Synopsis

Positive Points
If you are looking for a quick read that has some elements of fun then this may be the book for you. There are some sections of this book that are enjoyable and make it something that creates an interesting plot.
Negative Points
I found that the language and the depiction in this book of women was outdated and sexist. Throughout there are mentions of Sherlock Holmes and I find this incredibly poor writing in regards to a crime book.
Overall Review
Out of all the books that I read so far in this series, this was my least favourite, so much so that I am debating whether to continue reading them. There are eighteen books in total so I may try and give it another chance but if you can skip this book out, I recommend it as it does not have the spark the other two before it did.
